About Demera
Demera is an Accredited Practising Dietitian who completed a Bachelor of Science (Food and Nutrition) at Western Sydney University, followed by a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of Sydney. Demera has experiencing working in the community, private practice and in a clinical hospital setting.
She enjoys helping people navigate nutrition in a way that is practical, realistic and tailored to individual needs. Demera understands that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healthy eating and works with her patients to make sustainable changes that fit their lifestyle, preferences and health goals.
Her approach is evidence-based and focuses on moving away from restrictive diets and all-or-nothing thinking. Rather than chasing quick fixes, Demera aims to help people build habits they can maintain long term while still enjoying food and social occasions.
Demera has an interest in weight management, bariatric nutrition, women's health, fertility and preconception nutrition, gastrointestinal health, paediatrics and healthy ageing. She enjoys working with people from a range of backgrounds and values creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their nutrition concerns.
She believes that good nutrition doesn't have to be complicated and that small, realistic changes can make a meaningful difference to long-term health outcomes. Whether you're managing a health condition or simply looking to improve your eating habits, Demera works alongside her patients to develop practical strategies that support lasting change.
